How to Upload Your Convention Materials

 

1 Visit http://ncte.connectedcommunity.org/2013Upload.
2 Log in with your NCTE username and password.  Please note: you are not required to be an NCTE member in order to upload your materials. You simply need to have an account in our web system. You can log in with an existing account or create a new one (see the "I’m New to NCTE" section at the bottom of the login page).
3 In the "Title" field, list your session number and session title.
4 For "Description," please briefly describe your session AND the materials you are uploading.
5 The "Library" drop-down should have "2013 NCTE Annual Convention" already selected.
6 In the "Folder" drop-down, please select the topic of interest for your session. (If you are unsure of your topic of interest, it is listed in the Online Searchable Program.)
7 For "Entry Type," select the appropriate response. Most materials are either "Standard File Upload" or "Copyright Licensed File(s)."
8 Select "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
9 Click on "Select Your File" to locate each individual file you are uploading.
10 Once all files are listed, click on "Upload."
11 When the upload is complete, select "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
12 If you selected "Copyright Licensed File(s)" previously, you’ll see a screen asking about the type of license, etc.  Answer each question, then select "Next" if you’d like to add keywords.  Otherwise, select "Finish."
13 If you elected to add keywords, select them from the list.  Finally, click "Finish" at the bottom of the screen.
