The Editors of NCTE's Language Arts have extended the submission deadline for commentaries of 350 words or fewer for the March 2014 on the Common Core State Standards to January 1, 2013. Please consider submitting your thoughts and opinions about these new standards. Commentaries will not go through peer-review. All commentaries should be submitted electronically. Please register as an author at our Web-based manuscript submission and review system, Editorial Manager. Once logged in to the system, follow the instructions to upload your submission. Be sure to indicate in the comments section the issue date for which you are submitting (e.g., March 2014 issue).
