Hello everyone!
See below for an opportunity for graduate students studying English education. Please pass it along to students at your institution!
****************************************************************************************************** Nearly 50 people took part in the CEE-Graduate Student session this year at the 2012 NCTE Annual Convention, and the feedback we've received has been quite positive. Intending to build on our initial effort, we will propose a session for 2013 that again showcases the work of graduate students who are studying English education at various institutions across the country. If you are interested in facilitating a roundtable and sharing your work with others, we hope you'll consider joining us. To participate, please submit the following information to Luke Rodesiler at rodesiler@... or Makenzie Selland at Makenzie.selland@... - a title - a brief abstract - your name as you'd like it to appear in the proposal - the name of your institution - your preferred mailing address - your preferred email address With a proposal due date of Friday, January 18, we would appreciate it if you could submit your information by Friday, January 4. This will allow us ample time to organize, write, review, and submit the proposal. Also, please note that facilitating a roundtable in this CEE-GS session will not count as your one speaking program appearance. Thus, you can join the CEE-GS in celebrating the work of graduate students and still take on a speaking role in a separate session. ------------------------------------------- Makenzie Selland Salt Lake City UT makenzie.selland@... -------------------------------------------
